My logic is this: Memphis couldn't hit free throws in the first place, so why are people making a big deal out of the fact that they couldn't hit free throws in the clutch? That's not choking to me, that's just Memphis being Memphis. Choking is when you're good at something and then in the clutch, you fall apart. That's not what happened Monday. If you were shooting 59% of whatever it was they were shooting at the line in the regular season, ain't nobody going to put money that you were going to hit free throws at any point in your life, much less with 2 minutes left in a championship game. With that said, that Memphis team was a A+.
