Today is Friday, which means that tomorrow will be Saturday. Saturdays have always been an important day in my life. I usually watch television that day, so I name it "Television Day." Sunday is also "Television Day," as is Monday and all the other days of the week.
My favorite TV channel is a toss-up (no homo) between the following channels: Animal Planet, ESPN, History Channel, Discovery Channel, etc. It just depends on how high I am. If I'm high as shit, I can watch Animal Planet all day. When I watch Animal Planet, it's as if I've traveled the whole world in a day. To me, if you want to travel to a different country but are too broke, if you get really high and just watch a TV show about the country, it's just as good as actually going there but costs a lot less. And the only traveling you'll be doing is going to Wendy's for munchies. Take myself, for example. Now, I've never been to the deserts of Africa before, but last summer, I got really high and watched some re-runs of Planet Earth on the Discovery Channel. Now I tell people I meet that one of the greatest thrills of my life was going to an animal safari in Kenya, and how, one time, we were driving around and came upon a pride of lions and one of them looked at me before they moved on.
Also, if you get really high and watch sports, it's like your in the stadium; if you get really really, it's like your on the field playing. HDTV ain't got shit on that. I remember this one time in college, I was watching football. I was so high that while I was watching this game, I picked up my playstation controller and pretended like I was controlling the players on the field. Whenever the QB hiked the ball, I pressed X. Whenever someone did a spin move, I pressed O. I don't remember how long I did that, but it provided me with a whole new level on interactivity with television I did not know existed.
