My friend called me tonight no homo to talk about the summer league day. Anyone that knows me, know thats I am Portland Trail Blazers. So eagerly, I awaited till 8 pm ET (7 pm my time) to turn to NBA TV and watch the Blazers play their first summer league game versus the Wizards of Washington. This season is a very important season for the Blazers, and many expect the Blazers to win their second title in team history. But tonight, I was eager to watch our first round pick from this draft, Brandon Rush, who was later traded to the Pacers for Jerryd Bayless. So now, we have Bayless on our team.

I sat on my couch and watched, as I drank water from my Brita filter that I had replaced a couple weeks ago. Bayless ended up with 28 free throws and got to the line 23 fuckin times. That is Kobe status. I was also impressed with the only Finnish athlete I know besides Sami Hyppia. He was a pg and him and Bayless won this important game for us. This is our World Series, our Super Bowl, our World Cup. We are 1-0 in the summer league, and this gives us confidence for the rest of the summer. And hopefully, we can keep this momentum into the preseason and dominate those games as well.
